Nicole Ramsamy is a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurse Practitioner, born and raised in Cairns, with deep cultural roots from Wujal Wujal (Aboriginal) and Boigu Island in the Torres Strait (Central Islands). After spending over 30 years living and working in very remote Aboriginal communities across Far North Queensland, I’ve returned home to Cairns, where I’ve established LinkUp 2 Care—an NDIS-registered service providing culturally safe nursing and support coordination.

With more than 15 years of clinical experience, I bring a strong mix of professional knowledge and cultural understanding to the work I do. I provide a mobile and telehealth service offering advanced nursing care, midwifery, support coordination, and health education. My clinical scope includes complex care such as diabetes management, catheter and stoma care, feeding tubes, continence assessments, wound care, medication administration, and GP collaboration.

At LinkUp 2 Care, I also offer prescribing and referral services, working closely with GPs and specialists in both public and private systems. I educate support workers and families to better understand care needs, and monitor participant caseloads to ensure high-quality, consistent care.

My mission is simple: To deliver culturally safe, person-centred healthcare and support to NDIS participants, ensuring no one is left behind—no matter how remote.
